All of you were friendly, professional and welcoming in my first visit. Your assistance in checking in was just right. I was comfortable in performing the steps needed to complete the forms and to top it off you presented me with a swag bag. Wow! Your hygienist gave me a tour prior to seating me for the dental service. Her professionalism and friendliness were only surpassed by my feeling that she was cleaning my teeth as if they were her own! She was strong and effective, yet gentle. Now most dentists are friendly, but this dentist was especially attentive – with a smile – about my own perceptions about my own teeth and that factored into his professional examination and review of the state of my teeth and mouth. I am searching for a dentist covered under a plan sponsored by the Veterans Administration and as they are a member of that plan, it is conclusive I will be a new patient. A huge chunk broke off of one of my molars out of the blue on Wednesday morning. I have been going to Personal Care for just over one year, so I called them to make an appointment. They got me in that afternoon, assessed the (major) issue, and I walked out of there an hour later with a temporary crown and an appointment for the permanent one. My dental assistant and Dr. Teo were both amazing… they were thorough and professional with little-to-no “tweaking” required on the impressions they had to take and the drilling/filing/prep work for the temporary and permanent crowns. Dr. Teo gave “progress reports” as she worked (I totally appreciated knowing when she was more than half-way done) and was sensitive and empathetic throughout the process. When I voiced concerns about problem teeth, we made an appointment to get them fixed and they were encouraging about my teeth cleaning and care regimen. They were also both very gentle when looking at and cleaning my teeth. “Everything about my appointment was great! Started out by getting to see the girls at the front desk…I always feel like I’m visiting good friends instead of walking into a dentist’s office! I had barely sat down and got taken back for the first part of my appointment – a filling by Dr. Hunt and Tiffany. They made me feel so comfortable, I forget to stress out. The Novocain shot was painless, then with the numbing, I didn’t feel the work at all. They fixed a tooth where my gums had receded a bit, creating a shelf, and now it looks beautiful and is a nice smooth surface. After that part was done I went back to have my teeth cleaned by Missy….who I have been going to for years, and just adore that girl! She is always kind, sweet, interested in me as a person, and I can tell she would be that way with everyone she treats there. And she also makes me feel right at ease and there is never any pain.
