The hygienist was careful and friendly (but not the kind of friendly that expects you to talk with her hands in her mouth), the dentist was kind, positive and solution oriented. There was no effort to upsell me or make me feel like I should have a procedure done that was unnecessary. The reception area staff and billing were helpful and social in a way that made me feel welcomed and eased any anxiety I might have had. The facilities are also incredibly nice and comfortable. A Very Thorough Exam and Follow-up – Pam B.

I had an appointment for a check-up and cleaning. I had delayed making this appointment, so was definitely past due. The hygienist was supportive and communicated everything she did prior to starting. Before beginning, she reviewed my file, asking if I had taken any medication prior to the appointment since I had had a knee replacement a few years ago. I have always taken something, as recommended by my doctor, but had totally forgotten to do so. They had me covered! They had the necessary amoxycillin, so I did not have to reschedule. My x-rays and the dentist’s exam showed a cavity. There was time in today’s schedule to fill it, as it was small. I agreed – no need to make an additional appointment. Great Professional Service from Front Office Through Cleaning, Exam and X-rays – Norm M.

Have been using Personal Care Dentistry for a few years and couldn’t be happier; they really do have a top-notch staff. I’m recently retired and insurance is different now, which requires some careful planning and discussions to make sure patient and clinic are on same page as to what is covered and how the payments are done. The front office took the time to make sure I understood how the billing worked, what my new insurance covered and also to pass along the info to the folks doing the work. Today was the first time Missy cleaned my teeth – she did an awesome job; very gentle, thorough and provided detailed answers to any questions I had. She is a great communicator, letting you know up front what your options are for the cleaning, and making sure you are comfortable throughout the process. She is very knowledgeable in her field. Dr. Hunt did my annual exam – and is always thorough, polite and easy to talk to. I had considered going to a different clinic now that my insurance is provided by Ucare. However, this office provides a discount up front when you pay with cash or credit card for the services done; then they submit the claim to the insurance company for you. The insurance company then sends me a check for the covered amount. The end result is a very small amount of ‘out of pocket’ expenses, which is totally justifiable to me for the level of service provided by Personal Care Dentistry. – May 31, 2017

The staff didn’t judge me critically and referred us to a pediatric dental office because he needs X-rays. Personal Care Dentistry doesn’t start X-rays until a child turns five. I was so appreciative of how gentle the staff was cleaning his teeth and made sure to ask him how he was doing and made sure to explain anything before they did it. Because the staff is AMAZING and kind and supportive – I can’t say enough good things about how well I’ve been treated the past few years. I’m actually at a point where I look forward to my 6-month checkup. That’s how incredible the staff is here, from the dentist (I see Dr. Teo, she is the best!) to the entire team of hygienists and front desk staff. You can tell they have a tremendous amount of respect for their patients and that makes all the difference in the world. I’ve never felt judged, only supported and encouraged. Three years later and my smile has long since been restored – the work done has all been very high quality. The clinic itself was recently remodeled and is very spacious and comfortable.
