Dental Hygienist Position Available
Our family owned and operated dental practice is located in Roseville, Minnesota. We’ve been taking care of patients and their families since 1977 and plan to do so for years to come! We’re looking for a full-time dental hygienist with a great personality who is dedicated to compassionate patient care. We appreciate someone who understands the importance of personalized treatment planning and patient education. This position is: Tuesday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., with some flexibility available. We offer a positive working culture and value teamwork. OVERVIEW
Promote dental health by completing dental cleanings among other dental hygiene tasks.
JOB DUTIES
- Collect medical history and chart current conditions
- Capture radiographs
- Perform oral cancer screening and extraoral exam
- Complete dental cleaning and polishing
- Support doctor during exam and treatment planning
- Administer fluoride
- Review oral hygiene instructions
COMPENSATION
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Licensed Dental Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety regulations.
- Record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Maintain patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics procedures as required.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Eaglesoft.
- Ability to take X-rays and understand radiographic principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Must be able to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
